Connecting Your Calendars
Connecting your calendar
Connecting your calendar allows Members to schedule appointments with you that won't overlap with any of the events that exist in your calendar.
The Mindbeat platform allows you to connect one calendar or multiple calendars. Connecting multiple calendars is useful for coaches who use multiple online calendars that you would like Mindbeat to check before sessions can be scheduled.
To do this please follow the steps below, alternatively, you can watch a video tutorial here.
Navigate to Your Settings page by clicking on your name in the upper right-hand side of the screen, and then clicking Your Settings.
Click Calendars
Click Connect next to the calendar provider that you'd like to connect to Mindbeat. Here you'll be redirected to our trusted partners at Cronofy to authorize your calendar.
Please make sure if you get a new phone/laptop that you will need to authorise Cronofy again. If you fail to do this, Mindbeat Members will still be able to schedule sessions with you but these sessions will not appear in your calendar.
After the authorisation flow, you'll see your calendar connected! Read on to learn how to configure your calendars further.
Checking for conflicts
To configure which calendars Mindbeat should consider scroll down to "Check for conflicts" under "Calendar Configuration" on this page.
Click on "Edit" next to the account you'd like to configure the calendars for.
Choosing which calendar to save appointments to
To configure which calendar Mindbeat will save appointments to, scroll down to "Add to calendar" under "Calendar Configuration" on this page and click on the "Edit" button.
Adding multiple calendar accounts
Click the "+ Add Calendar Account" button at the top of the page to connect additional calendar accounts. This is useful if you have multiple calendars (e.g.: one for work appointments, and one for personal ones) that you'd like to ensure aren't double booked! Mindbeat will check your availability from each of the calendars you connect.
